Matt prides himself on being some sort of trivia whiz, so this blog is to see how well he can do with random trivia questions, and how many of you out there can beat him at his own game. jelly is gel-like - smooth and clear and jam has bits and pieces of fruit
Jelly is made from just the juice... jam is the whole fruit.
I prefer preserves, but Jam is the mushed up fruit, while jelly is clear and jelly like.
Matt is correct. Jelly also has pectin and Jam doesn't. I only know this because many years ago, I made jelly.
