Matt prides himself on being some sort of trivia whiz, so this blog is to see how well he can do with random trivia questions, and how many of you out there can beat him at his own game. Ugh, this was a trick question. Burr was his running mate in the election of 1800. They beat Adams/Pinkney but Jefferson and Burr tied, so in Feb. 1801 the House broke the tie. Also part of the reason Burr shot Hamilton. Hamilton swayed a couple members of the House saying how much of an asshole Burr was. Those people voted for Jefferson instead, so Burr lost and became VP.
