Why were Levi's original blue jeans sewn with orange thread?

  5. They were graduates of SU. Originally the jeans were pea green and the thread was rose. They then switched to the blue/orange combo since the green/rose color combo was not too manly.

  6. Orange is a lovely complimentary color to the shade of Blue in the jeans (as seen in the color wheel below).... and Jacquie is the douche. Glad I could clear that up for everyone :-)
