QUESTION: Fashion
Why were Levi's original blue jeans sewn with orange thread?
They were graduates of SU. Originally the jeans were pea green and the thread was rose. They then switched to the blue/orange combo since the green/rose color combo was not too manly.
Orange is a lovely complimentary color to the shade of Blue in the jeans (as seen in the color wheel below).... and Jacquie is the douche. Glad I could clear that up for everyone :-)
Hmmmm - maybe they got the thread cheap when they first started out and then just kept it.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Mom....sounds good anyway, and Matt, who's a douche?
ReplyDeleteyea matt, who's the douche?
ReplyDeletethey were the first to use copper rivets so maybe it was to match the copper
ReplyDeleteNot nice, Matt, to call other people names.
