propably the last names of the people who made it, but have no idea who they were.
A&W stands Apothecary and Whales the original snake oil sales men who concocted the famous Root Beer drink. This was a big success after their original formulas resulted in blindness.
Allen and Winston?
no it doesn't it stands for allen and wright. A&Ware the initialsof roy allen, and frank wright the inventors of A&W Root Beer. since 1919.
