Coco Chanel lived at the hotel from 1934 until her death in 1971, at first in the suite named after her, thereafter in a somewhat smaller room near the “rue Cambon”. The Coco Suite is not the biggest suite in the Ritz, Paris, but it certainly is its most legendary.
